The Earli Conference is hosted by two universities: The University of Amsterdam and the VU University, this piece is about the VU University. When you visit JURE and/or EARLI, you will probably only see the VU University, because all the sessions take place here. This is because the VU University is located much more compact, with 13 faculties located on a single campus. This makes it a more suitable place for a conference than the University of Amsterdam with all its locations throughout Amsterdam. For the faculties it’s easier to work together and for students to follow subjects offered by other departments. On the campus site they even have their own campus cafe called the Basket. |  |
